It was reported previously that NEVEROUT VR (from Setapp), first released the Samsung Gear VR (Oculus Store), is coming to the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift in full HD remaster, and today we have some updates for it.
Neverout is a unique puzzle game with innovative mechanics and immersive, unsettling atmosphere. The game puts the player in a small, claustrophobic cube, that has only one way out. Will you survive? HTC Vive Required.
In this game, you will find yourself in a room, and you have to get to a portal to get to the next one. To do so, you have to move around and also rotate the room to make yourself fall into the portal. There are also traps in some levels, so watch out. Check out the trailer below to get a better idea on how to play this game.
According to the developer, the game will be releasing on May 18th. NEVEROUT VR will be releasing on Steam, featuring over 60 levels across 4 zones. It is expected that the amount of content will deliver over 5 hours of intense puzzle solving gameplay, and will have immersive and comfort mode included to suit to your VR limit too. A room scale play area is not needed: you can play it seated or standing. Note that the over on the Steam page description, only HTC Vive is shown, so perhaps the Oculus Rift version will be on sale over Oculus Store, and that Oculus Rift compatibility for Steam will be added at a later date.
A new trailer for this HD Remastered has been released, which you can view below. You can also compare it to the Gear VR version here to compare the difference of the graphics between the PC and mobile version of the game.
