Warhammer: End Time Vermintide Standalone Experience Coming to VR

Update: Seems to be just a standalone experience patch according to announcemnt on Steam

It has just been announced (during a twitch video) that a standalone experience for Warhammer: End Time Vermintide will be coming to VR via a free patch! It will be VR compatible for the HTC Vive by the end of this year.

In this add-on, player assumes the role of an apprentice starting off in the travern, that serves as the hub which leads to three seperate levels: Forest, Drachenfels and a smaller bonus railway-like area. The game will be using teleport as movement.

Several weapons will be available in VR add on, with bow and arrows and a magic stick with a skull at one end, being shown.

To celebrate the announcement, this game is now on a 50% off. Head to vermintide.com/vr to purchase it at the discounted price. This bonus content might also make its way to other VR platforms.

Check out the confirmation tweet.

VR is coming.

A standalone Vermintide experience, FREE to all Warhammer Vermintide owners, is coming to an HTC Vive near you!

We’ll release more details shortly, but for now, catch the stream over at https://www.twitch.tv/sevadus (Or catch up with the VOD [Link to come]).

To quote Sevadus himself.

“Jesus, this is really scary. F(*$! B&$^H!”

Watch a grown man almost crap himself.
