We have yet another sports title released after “Final Goalie” shortly ago. Header Goal VR: Being Axel Rix is a physics based title for the HTC Vive, that puts you in an aspiring soccer player Axel Rix. As a key player of the England National Football Team, Axel Rix has found himself a bit on the bad side of luck, as he has been the main reason behind the loss of the games due to his inaccurate headers. Due to the increasingly pressure and his poor performance, he got removed from the national team, as his reputation takes a big hit. Axel Rix then decided to start from ground zero, as he seek to rebuild his career.
Header Goal VR features chapter-based story mode content. You have to use your head to knock the balls into various moving and still targets placed in front of the goal net. Targets come in various forms, such as bottles, human shaped target practice, barricades and trash bins. Each targets provide different scores, and naturally this means leaderboard is in this game as well. In addition, there will also be Achievements, combo mechanism, dynamic lighting as well as multi-language user interface too.
While it is still in Early Access state, most parts of the game seems to be already done. It will stay in Early Access for roughly 3 to 4 months. Future planned content includes 2 new episodes containing 10 different levels, and an Endless mode.
Header Goal VR is developed by Codemodeon, and this title is currently on a 10% discount. It is also scheduled for release on Oculus Rift.
