It was announced a while ago that there is going to be a standalone VR experience for Warhammer: Vermintide that will come this year.
Well, the Steam Page for the Warhammer: Vermintide VR – Hero Trials is now up on Steam, and will be released few hours from now. Additional information has also been revealed.
This VR experience consist of 4 levels, as well as a room where you can explore. The first 2 levels are “Red Moon Inn” and “Hall of the Poison Feast”.
In the first level, you will be able to relax with some Vermintide characters, explore the various items that you can pick up, and also move around the room.
In “Hall of the Poison Feast”, you will have to stand your ground in the cold and ancient halls of castle Drachenfels.
The 3rd and 4th levels are not free though. You will have to purchase the Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide based game to unlock them. These 2 levels are “Reikwald” and “Ungdrin Rail”.
In Reikwald, you have to take down the vile rat-men in the weathered forest outside of Ubersreik.
The 4th level looks to be an on-rail level, as you will be traveling through the mine tunnel and survive the Skaven in the way.
This game supports 2 player co-op, so you can join forces with a friend to prevent the Skaven from completing their evil plans. Fatshark will be releasing this title on the HTC Vive.
