Steam New Release: Perch

Early access VR title “Perch” is now available for purchase on Steam. It is a tower defense title, where the player takes on the role of a heretic, who have to defend his castle against the invading army.

In this title, player will be using crossbow to attack the enemies from a tower top. Enemies also come in various types too. Take for example, the ladderman will put up the ladder to climb up once they reach the bottom of the tower, so you will have to push the ladder off before they starts climbing. In addition, there are also battling rams, the knights clad in armor, archers and a kamikaze attacker who pushes the explosive carts. You’ll have to dodge the arrows from the archer, while eliminating the other troops, but fortunately for you this game features an upgrade system.

The upgrade system provides many assistance. You can upgrade your character, accessing to more attacks beyond the standard crossbow, such as frost arrow, summon healers, boiling oils, critical hits and more. You can also fortify the castle to increase the maximum health, so that your castle will last longer, buying you more time and allowing you to clear the 20 levels of this game easier.

This game is released on both Vive and Rift. The full release of this early access title is planned to be in the middle of the year, with more contents promised (levels, enemy types, upgrades, boss, weapons and upgrades, multiplayer).
