Steel Crate Games has just announced that they are adding in motion control compatibility for the PC version of “Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes“.
This is a local co-op multiplayer title. A player has to defuse a bomb in the virtual world, while the other player (who assume the role of an expert) has to give him instructution on how to do it without seeing the bomb itself.
VR is optional on the PC. The game is also available for the Playstation VR and Samsung Gear VR too.
According to the announcement, the update 1.3 which brings about motion control, is only applicable for HTC Vive and Oculus Rift for now. Switching between the standard controller and the motion controller requires the game to be restart.
This update also brings about some smaller patches:
- Motion control support added (HTC Vive and Oculus Touch).
- Fixed issue where presence of Oculus Remote would prevent gamepads from working.
- Fixed v-sync not working in OS X (in previous update, but forgot to include in notes).
- Fixed issue where the last digit of the serial number could never be ‘9’.
