“Apollo 11 VR Experience” for PSVR is Delayed

Apollo 11 VR Experience was originally scheduled for this month, but the dev has stated that the title is getting a delay.

Apollo 11 VR Experience is as its title suggest, is a virtual reality recreation of the events which took place between July 16th and July 24th 1969 on board the Apollo 11. It is under development by Immersive VR Education.

While a new date haven’t been announced yet, they have said that it will be out in a few weeks, because they have updated the experience from the PC build, and has taken a bit longer than expected to go through the Sony submission process. The title has already passed all of Sony’s major checks and is in final AQ with Sony before release.

The title is already out on Steam for Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and OSVR.

  1. It was supposed to be a launch title, but then nothing. I e-mailed them in December, asking for a release date… they responded within a couple of hours- “Before the end of the year”. When January hit I e-mailed them again, this time… no answer.
Four weeks ago they said “We submitted it to Sony, and it’ll be out in a couple of weeks”. Well It’s February… and still, no one can give a definitive date. Just give us a Date!
