“Tethered VR” Coming to Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, Motion Control Support Confirmed

Tethered is a strategy VR game that emerged on the Playstation VR back in October 2016 to critical acclaim, and now Secret Sorcery is announcing that this title will be ported to the Oculus and SteamVR with motion controller interaction!

This game will be launched simultaneously on the Oculus and SteamVR, and thanks to the new motion controller feature, it will now allow VR player to interact with the beautiful hand-painted environments in this game. This new motion control feature is not limited to Oculus and SteamVR of cause, as it will also make its way to the Playstation VR version.

The game will also be taking advantages of the increased power of the PC and PS4 Pro. In addition to influencing the particles (such as waterfalls and dust motes) with your hands, the game will brings about more surrounding sky islands, cloud layers and a beautiful aurora across the night sky. PC and PS4 Pro players can also expect to see better image quality over the PS4 version, as well as beautiful god-rays and bloom effects as well. There will also be a range of other miscellaneous visual improvements too.
