“Here They Lie” Gets Non-VR, PS4 Pro Support

Cory Davis, the Co-creative Director at Tangentlemen, has announced that Playstation VR’s “Here They Lie” will be getting a new update on February 21st. The update will make the game to be playable without Playstation VR headset, as well as PS4 Pro patch too.

The PS4 Pro enhancement includes 4K and HDR support for the standard version, as well as higher quality render-mode for PS4 Pro on PS VR (Better shadows, post-processing effects, dynamic flashlight shadows, and ambient occlusion!)

There will also be other new additions, including a controller configuration screen, chapter select screen, subtitles (only for Standard version) and other visual upgrades (improved anti-aliasing and lighting).

Head tracking improvement for PSVR will also be in the new update as well. You will be able to switch between the VR and Standard (non VR) version of the game seamlessly.

You will automatically receive the update through a downloadable patch if you already own the game. If you do not, the game will be patched with the update if you purchase it after February 21.
