EVE: Valkyrie is getting a new update next week (11st April to be precise) called “Groundrush” from CCP Games. This update introduces a ground-based map EVE: Valkyrie for the first time, and the map is called the “Solitude” (by ground-based, it means having a floor and horizon rather than ground combat).
This new battleground is set on a remote planet, as the update brings about fully playable both interior and exterior spaces with detailed terrain.
The update, according to CCP Games, will also brings about even ‘weirder and wilder Wormholes’.
Wormholes is an exciting new game mode that twists much of what you know about Valkyrie into weird and wonderful new encounters.
Co-op players can now also enjoy Carrier Assault and Control modes when team up. This player versus AI only playlist is said to have pilots working together rather than against them.
In addition, Steam controller, improvements to the Valkyrie League Alpha scoring, Training modules and pilot training comfort receives improvements as well, not to mention bug fixing and other stability issues.
This update is the 5th major update for the title. According to the road map published on their site, more is to be expected. Here are the major updates that the game has received:
- Carrier Assault (Jun 2016)
- Joint Strike (Nov 2016)
