"Kai-ri-Sei Million Arthur VR" Feature Video from Series's 5th Anniversary Celebration

Square Enix will be releasing Kai-ri-Sei Million Arthur VR, a card battle title from the Million Arthur series, for the HTC Vive. The game was announced last year with a trailer during Tokyo Game Show. This title marks the VR debut of the card battle strategy series, and is an original entry.

Based on the popular folklore surrounding King Arthur, the series take place in a fantasy world where players must recruit knights and collect resources while fighting against other players and in-game characters. The series debut in 2012 on the mobile, and has been highly successful in Japan. These series consist of the following titles:

  • (Mobile/PC) Kai-ri-Sei Million Arthur
  • (Vita/PS4) Kai-ri-Sei Million Arthur
  • (Arcade) Million Arthur Arcane Blood
  • (Vita) Kaku-San-Sei Million Arthur

The series also spawned an anime “Jaku-San-Sei Million Arthur” too. Previously, Japanese voice talent Yuka Iguchi also get to try out the demo of the game too, and we have a video for it.

According to Square Enix, this single-player only VR title is set for release this year Spring. Square Enix held a 5th anniversary program for the series, which they also used to showcase the game. In the video, you can see Japanese voice actress Hisako Kanemoto trying out the demo, while a couple of other voice talents (Iwano Hiroaki, Sayuri Yahagi and Satomi Akesaka) discuss about the game.
