Zulubo Production has just posted an update to assure VR players that sci-fi VR Shooter adventure title Vertigo is not abandoned , and that this title is still being worked on. Vertigo has been ported to the newest Unity version, with game bugs being ironed out.
Vertigo was released late last year, featuring a first person story-based shooter for the HTC Vive. (Check it out on Steam)
In addition, Zulubo is collaborating on various (separated) stuffs with Valve and Onward, and that Vertigo 2 is also a thing that’s in early stage.
The studio also promises that there will be a couple of things in the near future, which includes a sales on Vertigo, additional game modes and others. If you are thinking of buying Vertigo now, do consider holding on a bit.
Sincere apologies for the past couple of months. Contrary to popular belief, Vertigo is not abandoned and I didn’t just run off with your money never to be heard from again. I fully intend to acquire more money before I run off.
Anyhow, over the last couple months I’ve had a lot of stuff going on in my personal life, and since game development is a hobby I haven’t been able to put it in priority over said stuff, especially the whole talking to the community bit.
I haven’t been totally inactive however. Vertigo has been ported to the newest version of Unity and a bunch of bugs have been solved. I’m collaborating with Valve on a thing. I’m collaborating with Onward on another thing. Vertigo 2 is in the early works. I’m planning on putting Vertigo on sale soon, with additional game modes and other fun stuff. I don’t blame anyone for being frustrated and disappointed, but hopefully I can ease your suffering a little with this post.
Also, similar deal with Blueshift. Hopefully I’ll be able to get more on track with making that.
Expect a big big update in the next couple days!
Feel free to ask any questions you may have, I’ll do my best to answer!
