Steam New Release: Child of the Wind

Child of the Wind is a rather quirky title that has just been released over Steam platform for the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift.

This title features a gameplay not found in any VR title yet, where the gameplay is set on a table top: you have to use two fans to fan and steer a miniature oriental ship, across the sea on a table top. There are things to avoid along the way, such as enemy ships, whirlpools and natural dangers. The goal of this game is to make it safely to collect your cargo and deliver it back to safety.

This game requires a standing play area, and there’s a handle where you can adjust the table top to fit your height as well. The table can also be rotated, allowing you to play the game without having to walk around, if you detest moving much or lack of room space.

The game comes with an entirely Japanese oriental theme, from its music, to its environment and the fans design.

Child of the Wind is made by Freetale, and is 15% off.
