News for “Paranormal Activity VR” PSVR Version Coming Next Week

The horro VR adventure title “Paranormal Activity: The Lost Soul” is set to come to PSVR in the future, and we may have news next week.

Based on the movie series, “Paranormal Activity: The Lost Soul” immerses you in a terrifying realistic environment with haunting atmosphere. This game is set to be an horroradventure title, where you have to explore the house to find and use items. The game dev have “had people play anywhere from 5 to over 10 hours” but obviously if you know what you should do especially in subsequent gameplay, the game will be much shorter. Even then, the items placement will be randomized.

This game story is original, and is based on the mythology of the film series. You are to explore the house to investigate the mystery of what’s gone on in this house. Do expect scare events while playing.

The game is designed for full immersion, as there will not be any HUD or on screen direction in your face. In this game, you have limited tools, and that means you have to learn to escape or hide from your enemy rather than confronting them head out.

Paranormal Activity: The Lost Soul was released over Steam as early access for HTC Vive and Oculus Rift back in March, but the game has received some criticisms, particularly the locomotion system. VRWERX has released various paths and it seems there are still technical issues remaining, if we go by the comments of their latest patch. Hopefully these problems will be resolved asap.
