“Gravity League” Announced for HTC Vive

Gravity League, a zero-g sports arena VR game, is set to come out on Steam for the HTC Vive. This title is the latest VR effort from Mechatbit Ltd, the makers of Pierhead Arcade.

Humanity have colonised Mars and taken the first steps to becoming an interplanetary species.
Unfortunately they have also brought greed and conflict with them into space.
Mega corporations vie over asteroid mining rights that spill over into open hostilities.
Space combat however is costly and not profitable so instead teams play for rights in zero-g sports arenas to show who has the greater space frame piloting skills and who will take home the spoils.

Gravity League will feature up to 6 players online in VR, as well as Single player challenge and practice modes. The game will have character customization, with new modes added regularly over Early Access.

According to the developer, the current state of the game is about 20% done with only 1 arena and 1 play mode, and will be in Early Access for about 5 months. Expect more attachments, game modes, character customization, cross-platform play to be added over the EA phase.
