The early access date for The SoulKeeper is approaching, and the developer has shared a battle preview of a boss fight that we VR gamers will be going up against in this title.

The SoulKeeper® VR is an episodic dark fantasy Virtual Reality Role Playing Game. Experience the immersive world of Gerindak, filled with lore and adventure, as you play through the intertwining stories of various characters. Start off as Isoropos, a warrior monk, member of the ancient monastic order of the Lavordians as you embark on a dangerous quest to investigate rumors surrounding the Mardonians, the hated rivals of the Lavordians. Engage in combat wielding your sword, casting ferocious spells, utilizing your staff, or shooting arrows, all while treading on a treacherous path brimming with daunting enemies, towering beasts and deadly traps.

Mardonian Berserker boss is said to be one of the several boss fights on Early Access. According to the developer, this walking muscle is impervious to pain. Wielding a massive two handed battle axe, Mardonian Berserker will attack with a variety of moves, ranging from leaping, whirlwind and chopping attacks. If you think you can get in close to limit his movement, think again. It is said that this enemy will boot your chest to kick you away.

Expect to switch between weaving melee attacks, teleportation, spell casting and room-scale movement or precise controller movement, when you goes up to confront him.

The game from HELM Systems will be out on August 15th on Steam , as early access, with HTC Vive and Oculus Rift support.
