Wales Interactive has got a game that they are preparing to launch on multiple platforms (PS4, PC and XBox One), with optional VR support PSVR, HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. Titled “Don’t Knock Twice“, it is a first person horror title that is based on a psychologically terrifying urban legend. If you find this title rather familiar, that’s probably because a movie with the same title was released few months back. In fact, this game was suppose to serve as a promotional piece and scheduled to be released close to the movie originally, but well stuffs happened.
In this game, player plays the role of a guilt-riden mother who must ‘uncover the frightening truth behind the urban tale of a vengeful, demonic witch’ in order to save her estranged daughter. To do so, player will be exploring a grand manor house environment, search for clues and wield items to fight or escape the terror.
A playable demo can be downloaded on Steam right now, and the full game will be coming 5th September. Pre-order has commenced today, with a 20% discount.
