The maker of VR zombie horror shooter Brookhaven Experiment (Steam, PS Store), is currently developing their next VR game, and has a web site for it. Just to clarify that this is not made by Phorphos Games (the sudio behind Brookhaven Experiment), but is created by a new startup from Chip Sineni and Andy Kniaz, who participated in the development of Brookhaven Experiment.
The upcoming game’s title is “Rushfire“, and it will be an online competitive shooter for VR. There’s no other information on the site at all, but you can sign up for the closed alpha at the site right now. The drop down box also indicates HTC Vive and Oculus Rift.
The startup and the game is part of ViveX initiative. The based game will be free with optional microtransaction, but also has a Pop Match Tournament system. Players pay a small entry fee to enter the tournament, where the pool money goes to the developer as well as the winners of the tournament.
I’ll get back when more information has been revealed.
