“Far-Out” Coming to HTC Vive/Oculus Rift/OSVR This Year

Far-Out, described as a “hardcore retrofuturistic adventure” VR game by its developer Escapism Artworks, will be coming to Steam later this year.

Far-Out is a game that will features dynamically changing gameplay with multiple endings. In this classic horror title, you will follow the lone survivor of the Selene’s crew, geneticist Zack Paterson. Your objective is to investigate what happened to the ship, the crew and how to escape. You will be controlling the ship with the “Lira operating system”.

This game is under development by lone developer Alexander Hagelstein, with music by Michael Donner. Nic Mepham and Boris Repetur are both providing voice acting for this game.

The game is set to be coming out on Q3 2017 according to the Steam Page, but the latest words from the developer is that he will try to release it in the beginning of September. Check out the Steam page for more screenshots.
