If you are looking for a new VR adventure title, you may scratch that itch in the form of Cloudborn, a newly announced title from Swedish-based indie development studio Logtown Studios. “This title has been built from the ground up with accessibility in mind, providing a myriad of different comfort options and locomotion systems”; says the description on the site. “from arm swinging movement to dash teleport and traditional FPS sliding. Cloudborn has been developed for use with tracked controllers, with options for playing in a standing, seated, or room scale setup.”
“Set in part unknown, the player is challenged to explore a breathtaking journey through climbing and scaling the game world, while uncovering the gate of a lost civilization”.
This game is announced for an early September 2017 on HTC Vive and Oculus Rift (TBA for PSVR), which in other words, is due any days now. Here are some released screenshots and a teaser trailer.
