Calling all cyber ninjas! VR action title “Sairento” is set to have an update that will add co-op mode, allowing you to team up with (up to 3) other ninjas to slash those enemies!
If you haven’t heard of this game from Mixed Realms Pte Ltd, this action title lets you take down enemies through various flashy moves and awesome looking weapons. You will be wielding arms like katanas, firearms, bows and others, as you battle your foes and procure resources. Sairento uses a range of locomotion system that not only doesn’t induce any motion sickness, but makes you the player feel badass. You will be able to navigate around by quick ninja-like movements such as triple jumps, wall runs, power slides, back flips, not to mention the iconic ‘bullet-time’ feature. Its hard to put it in words on how awesome it is to slow down time in the midst of your triple jump while you gun down the enemies around.
Set in a re-imagined Japan in the near future, you play as a member of the “Silent Ones”, an organisation of seemingly ordinary people who practice the long forsaken code and martial arts of the ancient samurais and ninjas.
The alpha testing for co-op on this title will commence soon. Owners of co-op can switch to the test branch that will be delivered in a week or two. The developer will be focusing on co-op first, but PVP will come later. Check out the announcement for more details.
Sairento is currently available on Steam for HTC Vive and Oculus Rift.
