Tripwire Interactive has just released the formerly Oculus-exclusive title, Killing Floor: Incursion, today on Steam. This release is accompanied by a Press Release on the web site, as well as a launch trailer.
The Steam version of the title is available for HTC Vive and Oculus Rift, and cost $39.99 USD. In addition, the title also sees a new content update, that is also available to current owners of the game on Oculus Rift (the game is already available on Oculus Store). The update highlights include a new Hardcore difficulty setting, Katana weapon, leaderboards, achievements, and the exciting new “Holdout” game mode, which finds players defending a random location in one of the game’s maps against increasingly deadly hordes of Zeds in a frenetic, arcade-like action experience.
In this game, players take on the role of an elite Horzine Security Forces soldier, as they team up with allies to fend off the horrific Zed hordes, using a range of arsenals like guns, blades and more. Players can also freely explore the environment, search for weapons and ammo while find for the best locations to fight the monster onslaught. There’s a diverse environments, ranging from creepy farmhouses, high tech facilities through Horzine Security Forces missions and more.
