Oculus VR cult hit “Elevator… to the Moon” is released today on Steam, providing HTC Vive owners an opportunity to play this title. This Steam release is of course available for Oculus Rift users too.
Developed by Roccat Games Studio, this is a puzzle title where you play as a lunarnaut/repair-person who is “tasked with fulfilling the ridiculous demands of President of the World, Doug-Slater Roccmeier, to build his massively unstable elevator. ” As suggest in the title, to the moon. You can obey his goofy orders to the letter, or disobey and cause hilarious havoc, or you can also find your own sweet spot too. Its up to you to blaze your own altitudinal path to the moon!
The game features an engaging story with twists, turns and total mayhem, with a fully voiced President who will react and comment on your actions. There are secrets hidden around waiting for you to discover too.
The Steam version is not just a straight port too. The developer has added room scale with HANDS, so you can walk around and explore the elevator, rummaging through top secret files, eat forbidden fruit and hit naughty buttons, whatever you want. If you prefer the classic Point and Click control, well it is available as well, especially great if you do not have ample room space.
