HTC Vive’s latest AAA virtual reality title Fallout 4 VR will be releasing in several hours from now, and according to reports, it can be played on Oculus Rift too, albeit with some minor issues (please switch to the stable build if you are using Rift to play it).
First released as Fallout 4 on various consoles and PC as flatscreen version, this title is an open-world RPG that is set in a post apocalyptic world. Developed by Bethesda, this game serves as the fourth main installment of the Fallout series. In this game, player play as one of the survivors who emerged from Vault 111 after about 200 years of cryogenic sleep. The player witnessed his wife being killed by an individual, and his newborn being kidnapped in the midst of being in the cryogenic storage, and he now embarks on a journey to find the kidnapper for his kid.
Fallout 4, the legendary post-apocalyptic adventure from Bethesda Game Studios and winner of more than 200 ‘Best Of’ awards, including the DICE and BAFTA Game of the Year, comes in its entirety to VR.
The VR remake is now available for pre-purchase on Steam, and the game will unlock in less than 8 hours from now for play.
