The launch date for early access VR game “Battle Sky VR” has been announced. Oh!WHATif Inc has announced that this MOBA style VR title will be gracing its full fledged release on Steam on January 19th 2018.
Battle Sky VR is currently on Steam as early access. It brings MOBA style gameplay to the VR platform. The title offers a range of heroes with vastly different size, power and gameplay style for the players to pick in order to engage in fast-paced aerial combats against each other. The title offers a variety of online gameplay mode, such as Team Deathmatch, Capture The Flag, other teamplay modes of up to 4 vs 4 players.
This is more than just an online title too. There is a single player mission mode, where you will get to learn the back story of the Heroes, and to get familiarize with the controls and the unique flying locomotion.
In its early access stage, there are 2 playable heroes: Draco and Jet-9, 2 maps for multiplayer PvP, and 1 mission for Jet-9 (available for Single Player and Co-op mode) of up to 3 players. Their goal for the full release is to push up 4 Heroes, and a total of one mission for each of the 4 heroe, 6 maps for multiplayer PvP (up to 8 or 10 players), and Windows MR headsets (the game currently support HTC Vive and Oculus Rift).
If you are on the fence but not purchasing it because of its early access status now, do check back on 19 January 2018 for this title.
