Before the end of 2017, I reported that Japanese developer Yomuneco (who created Enigma Sphere VR for the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift) is working on a new VR title, which they will be revealing at Japan VR Fest 2018 few days later. This title is set to be a RPG.
Recently, Yomuneco has shared some teasing information relating to a new VR title, which could be the same VR title that they are announcing at Japan VR Fest. According to the new information, this will be an “Action Adventure RPG with rich story and artistry reminiscent of Shadow of the Colossus“. Shadow of the Colossus is a Playstation 2 title which features ancient and unforgettable world, where towering Colossi roam the majestic landscape. This title was also recently remade for the Playstation 4.
The developer also tweeted some teasing video of themselves playtesting their new game on Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, therefore indirectly confirming that the title is going to support these headsets.
Our new game isn't a horror… Honest!

To summarize (if all of these are the same VR title), here’s what we can gather:
- Its an action adventure RPG
- It will be releasing on HTC Vive and Oculus Rift
- Will feature a rich story
- Will feature artistry reminiscent of Shadow of the Colossus
- Will be shown at Japan VR Fest 2018
I’ll continue to keep a close eyes on more information for the title they are teasing here, and report back if I learn anything new.
