Soccer in VR has never been a frequent idea due to the lack of feet tracking right now, and the only solution was to get the player to strap 2 Vive Trackers to the leg (and Final Soccer VR on Steam has that feature if you are looking for that).
Today, Cherry Pop announces a new Soccer themed VR title “VRFC“, which looks to implement kicking and moving with motion controllers.
The Agile Locomotion system of this game will be letting user to both run and kick the ball via the motion controllers. Its not 1:1, so it sounds like it is a compromise here. Whether how well it work is still an unknown.
VRFC offers 8 players matches (with the goalie being control by AI), cross-platform plays and solo training mode. Look out for this title on HTC Vive, Oculus Rift and PSVR on 27th Feb.
update: the Steam Page for this title is up.
